HOW TO JOIN:

Who can join?
All Australian residents can join this challenge.  However, please note that the grand prize is a stay at a hotel in NSW. The winner must be able to arrange his or her own transportation to the hotel location.

What do you need to do?
It's simple, really. All you need to do is to promote Nurse Uncut to your friends and colleagues. You can do so by word of mouth, by emailing your contacts, by writing about the site on your blog, and/or by posting about us on your social networks (Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc). Encourage people to sign-up and become a member. Just make sure to remind them to let us know that you referred them. See below for some ideas.

How do we know that they've been referred by you?

We have a section in our sign-up process where they can put in your name. We will then track these referrals. The best way is to encourage your referrals to write down your Nurse Uncut username. Otherwise, your email address or real name (if you've used this in your NU membership) will work too.

How to win?
Each referral gives you a point. At the end of the challenge, the person with the most referrals will win.

What is the contest duration?

You can start referring people right now! This contest will run from 9th November to 30th November 2009.

How do you know if you win?
You will be contacted shortly after the contest ends.

If you have any other questions or clarifcations, please don't hesitate to leave a comment or contact us.

Interesting item re using nicknames above..."Hihavaniceda" - I saw the name often, but never thought of asking why. I like using my name, so people know it's me. That's me, I'm a Leo! I like an audience. To teach is divine!- all those captive audiences you can mesmerise and take control of!
But, back to the topic, Lucky I have a 'h' in my name (even though there's another "Bernhard Racz" on Facebook!) or that Hihavaniceda is out there, but what use is it to refer someone to this site, when in "who told you about this site?" you write :" Mary Smith" or some other simple-named mortal!
Surely there must be a better way to link the person who referred them?
Why not have the "sign-in" portal inside our own site, so when we give the website, we give "our" link, in which they can sign, as this would immediately, and without even the need of the question, indicate where they came from??? In addition, it can give us a tally of how many actually sign in?!

To be honest with you ! I do go on a few forums / other that have nurses on them (Rewards Central is one place ) and I do have a few gals at my work I have been trying to get here .... but .... I do like to be anonymous.

I am Ok with the gals at work knowing my name (as they already do :) ) but I don't really want them to know my nickname here .... I like to be anonymous.

I don't wish to give my name out to the gals that are nurses on the other forums I go to as I want to be anonymous, but I am happy them knowing my nickname "Hihavaniceda" (as they already do :) ).

Would it be too confusing for you if I gave out my name :) to the nurses at my work , and then also give my user nickname to the other forums that I go on?

I have already tried to get you some attention at one forum .... but I could try harder for a competition.

I use the same nickname everywhere go this is why I do not want every one at work knowing my nickname.

Have a look at ..... http://www.rewardscentral.com.au/Community/ForumPost.aspx?topicid=823415 posted back in September.

ALL these guys that have responded to my thread on that site are nurses...... mmmmmm .... you may have to sign up for a free account at RC to look .... something that RC has that this place does not .... a little safety in a public forum ..... but ...... I have made a few suggestions on how to improve this site in my thread in "TALK" "Suggestions" area on this site .... and so I have another suggestion .... People should have to Log in before they get to look at our Nurse Uncut Wed site .... THAT will also increase your numbers that you will be able to then post the weekly email about what is happening here :) . ... and provide a little safer feeling in a public forum .... especially if you have the confirmation email when you sign up.

Bless you guys here .... but you are not really forum sav vey :)
