I see the lonely clock tower and feel a bit sad others will not have the chance to sit around it to have lunch and smell the roses... |

I left PHH in the 1990's because & hated the thought of what was going to happen to the place - I really loved the atmosphere & culture of the ward/hospital. So when I first went back & saw the new estates I cried at the loss of what was a great hospital.
Hard to recapture that same feeling of collegiality. Subsequent trips back have not been as emotional, thank goodness! |

I started training in March 78.....and worked in W4 1982-87 (one year off to do midi).
Have you been out to PHH recently! It has really changed. I think they are selling the mortury off as appartments.
Gracy (the ghost of Heffron House ) must be very lonely and a bit cold....the windows were knocked in last I saw. S |

I worked in ICU when Leslie Roberton was NUM & Jo Loder was NUM of ward 4. |

HI there. Who out there trained at PHH and POWH?
I started training 1978 and graduated in early 1981. Loved my training and still keep in touch with several people.
