A number of statements are being made here ( eg. " ... the rights of others " & " deemed racist " ) This comes down to one person's opinion over-riding that of another. When a third person ( or authority in power, such as Admin. of a website ) sides with one view, then the true qualities of the statement or argument are lost. By removing the post, no other person can judge for themselves, what the issue is about. Even myself ... I didn't keep a copy of exactly what I wrote ... so, in order to re-evaluate ( or get a legal opinion ) ... is Nurse Uncut able to send me a copy of the 'offending' statement?? Without knowing what was deemed to be offensive, there can be no evaluation of the material. Further to this situation, I can say, that I have been 'offended' by various responses on the website ... but I would NEVER seek to have anybody's right to free speech challenged by demanding that Admin. remove whatever I personally thought was wrong. To do so, in my opinion, is attempting an 'abuse of power'. GORDO

HI Gordo.

We don't censor any member's opinions or points of views but if these views are deemed racist in nature or are attacking someone else in the forum or the site then yes, we come in to protect the rights of others. I don't think that is called censorship.

Hello Admin. Would you kindly review the following: 1. On the Home page of Nurse Uncut, on the right hand-side of the page, there is a statement that reads: "A community site for Nurses in Australia where your sharing goes uncensored". 2. Would you kindly REMOVE this statement, or otherwise amend the statement to reflect, that Nurse Uncut DOES indeed censor comments posted on the site. GORDO

Hello Nurse Uncutters.

As I mentioned in the thread started by kbw under "Chit Chat", I'm starting a thread here under General Announcement where you can list all the bugs and issues that you've noticed so we can get Tech to resolve them.

I know the path of transitioning over to a new and better Nurse Uncut web platform is not ideal given that you were not given notice and such BUT there is an explanation for this which I will further elaborate in a blog entry today.

So as I mentioned, please list as objectively as you can, all the issues and bugs you've noticed so they can be fixed asap.
