1. Come on nurses....Many of you cite how the industry is destroying your sanity, so here is an opportunity to get involved in the education of nurses. Attend some College of Nursing courses, attend seminars, and AUSMED educationals, then use the knowledge of not only what you learned, but of how you were taught, and get involved in education. The CLOCK is ticking!
2. Self promote yourself to the industry, help your colleagues, but do it ON YOUR OWN TERMS...
3. PS., last year the pharmaceutical companies spent $230 million on 'bribing' doctors with enticements, (to get them to prescribe their drugs). Starting at end of this year, they have over $400 million allocated to 'entice' nurses to do the same.... Are you in a position to get some of this enticement $$$$$ stockpile?
4. Again, HERE is a goldmine for you all to look at, and go from $35 an hour to $350 or more an hour! The world is only as big as your imagination!
5. If EVER you wanted EMPOWERMENT... here is your chance!

Because We Care delivers $130 million for Aged Care!

Woot woot! Congatulations! This is a big win for nurses and patients in Aged Care!

Nurses were prominent in this year’s Federal Budget with the Rudd Government allocating $130 million for nursing initiatives in aged care and a further $523 million for extra practice nurses as it increased its health spending by another $2.2 billion. This brings the increase in health spending this year to more than $7 billion.

Of the money allocated to aged care nursing, $60 million will become available from 1 July for a raft of education initiatives.
