I have read your post with great interest ... anything that will help us with education it wonderful ... if only we would have time given to us to go see it.

We have something similar in aged care but it is on a foxtel TV network rather than internet. It's called aged care channel. We have it on in the staff room or education room and it is interactive. You can phone in and ask questions or fax questions and make comments. There are experts in the aged care that feature every episode and you print off the discussion and small quizes of the internet to give to your nurses. I think it is fab!! and the nurses love it

I have recently become aware of some new technology that enables power-point presentations to be broadcast over the internet with the presenter able to add their commentary...this is called a "webinar".

This will in time change how nurses have in-service education on the wards and at home. I have put a survey (takes 3 minutes) on my blog www.richnursepoornurse.com to see if nurses want me to provide webinars with nursing experts from Aust and around the world.
