No I don't have any objections to anyone doing whatever they like with regard to face lifts and what not - I'm just fascinated by Botox.
Botox seems to change a face so much. It seems like it hardens out the softness of a face, if that makes sense. When I look at some of the celebrities who use it, is seems as if over time their faces are morphing into another person! It can't be good for you to keep on with it either. Fascinating:O

Botox is not only used for cosmetic purposes, did you know that it is also used to help stroke pt's with constrictures in arms and legs? Yes we do.... I have had a few residents that have had Botox therapy in their arms and legs. The Botox helps the muscles relax thus stopping the arms and legs contracting and becoming stiff. It actually works, but it is soooooo expensive to get this therapy.

I have to say I have noting against plastic surgery or a little liquid facelift. If it helps you feel better about yourself then go for it. I am more for the prevention of lines before they come, but at the end of the day each to their own. I may well possibly have a tummy tuck one day after I have my last baby so it would be hypocritical of me to come down on those who choose to have a little liquid facelift every now and again Wink

I've always wanted to ask this question. Why would you have botox?
It seems to change people's face so that they don't look like themselves anymore.I don't really understand it. I don't like seeing my face getting older, but it's still me.Unsure

Does that mean if we inject each other its "supervised" and such legal? LOL

Botox is a really bad idea and an advertising miracle... how do they ever convince peolpe to have an injection into their face of a poison or toxin that is made by certain bacteria during food poisoning (botulism)!!! RichSick

I read this article at TVNZ where it says that Australian nurses are illegally injecting botox because they are doing this without supervision.

Yaiks! Is this true? Here's the link to the story: http://tvnz.co.nz/health-news/australian-nurses-illegally-injecting-botox-2836798
