Location
Parking's easier because a lot of staff take leave, beds are closed and there's less clerical support. Other than that - no real change from a nursing point of view.

I know of a public hospital where nursing staff are allowed to leave 1 hour early if on morning, and come in 1 hour later if on afternoon, with the blessing of the ADON. Unsurprisingly, night shift get no Xmas cheer. I reckon if you give it to some you have to give it to all.

I work at Tresillian and we close down from today, 24th Dec to January 11th. Everyone has to take their annual leave. Most people don't mind taking some of their annual leave over the christmas break - I certainly don't.
