So, what is Nurse Uncut I hear you ask?
Nurse Uncut was created to provide a platform for nurses to share their stories of challenge and strength, experience and opinion on topics that are close to their heart.
This site was also created for the wider community to share their own experiences working with the nurses in their area.
This site will provide people like yourself an opportunity to show your support to your nurses who work tirelessly to look after you and your family.
So in celebration of Nurse Uncut’s site launch, we are giving away prizes worth $1500!
WHAT YOU CAN WIN:

First Prize* – 4 tickets to a preview performance of Mamma Mia in October in the Lyric Theatre plus a 2-night stay for 4 people in a 2-bedroom apartment at the York Apartments. This includes parking for 2 cars plus breakfast. Package is valid until December 2009.
Second Prize** – 1 iPod Classic with 120 Gb worth around $339.
Third Prize** – 1 iPod Nano with 16 Gb worth around $279
The small print:
*1st Prize can only be won by NSW (New South Wales, Australia) residents (unless you can fly and redeem the voucher before its expiry).
**2nd and 3rd prizes are open to all Australian residents.

1. The giveaway will run from now (July 14th) till 31st July, Friday . The giveaway will close at 11.59pm, Sydney time of the 31st.
2. You can enter to be in for the draw by doing either or ALL of these actions:
- Sign-up to become a Nurse Uncut member at the Nurse Uncut Sign-Up page. All members who register from today till end of July 2009 gets in the draw.
- Tell us what topics you’d like us to write about in the Nurse Uncut blog by leaving a comment on this contest post.
- Follow us on Twitter at @nurseuncut and let us know that you have done so by leaving a comment on this post and writing “I have followed. My username is @________.” (insert your Twitter username).
- Join us on Facebook and let us know you have done so by leaving a comment on this post and writing “I have joined Nurse Uncut’s Facebook Page! My name is ______.” (insert the name you used in Facebook).
- Blog or tell others about the giveaway on other sites like your personal blog or a forum, egroup, etc. You must post a link to the site where you posted or shared about the giveaway by leaving a comment on this contest entry.
- Tweet this contest entry and use the hash tag #nurseuncut to let us know you’ve tweeted. Come back on this contest post and let us know that you’ve tweeted.
3. The giveaways are only valid for Australian residents with the exception of the First Prize where only NSW residents can win it (unless of course you can fly to Sydney and use your prize before the prize voucher expires!).
4. One entry per action (see #2). The more actions you do, the more chances of winning the prizes!
5. Winners will be selected through a random draw and will be announced on 3 August, Monday.
