Aged care nurses: competition!


If you’re an NSWNA member who works in aged care, we have a competition especially for you – and the prize is an overnight stay in the Blue Mountains. 

Voting is underway in the LASA 2012 enterprise agreement and to celebrate the collective strength of aged care nurses, we’re running a simple competition. The prize is an overnight stay at Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains [one night’s double accommodation at the Fairmont in a Fairmont Room with buffet breakfast, as well as weekend High Tea for two people. Included is use of the hotel’s facilities, including swimming pool , gymnasium and spa].

  1. Staff working in aged care want to see a system that is world class for our elderly. They have fought for this country. We have the working conditions and lifestyle because of their hard work. Staff want to be able to provide quality care all the time, instead of rush, rush.
    Staff working in aged care also deserve wage parity, this would attract younger staff to the sector and they would stay.

  2. … and the way to do that effectively is to take Aged Care out off private hands and returnit to the Federal Government.

    Aged Care should not be a ‘for profit’ business …
