In case you hadn’t heard, we are now the New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association. History was made at Annual Conference this year when delegates voted overwhelmingly to change the name of the union to include midwives – the first change since the Association was registered in 1931.
To celebrate this historic name change, we’re asking members to make a one-minute video of yourself saying:
- Why you’re a member of the Association or
- Why you became a nurse and/or midwife
The best video wins a new iPad.
Second prize is two nights in a family room at the Blue Mountains YHA in the heart of Katoomba. Third prize is two nights in a family room at Sydney Harbour YHA in the heart of the historic Rocks district.
[Do not send the video itself to us!]
The contest closes at midnight on November 2, 2012.
