Global #ClimateStrike

Climate change is one of the biggest problems facing the world and it isn’t being addressed quickly enough.

The young people have shown strong leadership in demanding action from our politicians. They are fighting for a better future which is why we need to take action to support them!

Nurses and midwives have a long history of standing up for what is just and fair. That’s why we’re calling on you to support the school strikers’ Global #ClimateStrike.

Sign-up for a September 20 #ClimateStrike near you.

Prior to the strike we encourage you to organise a workplace morning tea, or take a solidarity selfie and post to social media in support of these young activists.

In major cities, people will be meeting at a central location and marching together. We will send these details closer to the day.

Please contact Alice Eggleston Campaign Organiser, Climate and Health Alliance for any enquiries on 0434 085 082 or alice.eggleston@caha.org.au.

Register for a webinar to find out how you as a health professional can be involved!
