Carolyn Guichard, a prolific and accomplished film-maker and past winner, was this year’s runner-up in the NSWNMA Nurses and Midwives Short Film Festival with her powerful ‘horror’ film, The Soulcatcher. Carolyn won $2000, sponsored by Behaviour Change, the Shannon Company.
Her short film is based on the true story of Constance Kent, convicted of a child murder in 1860. Constance later became a trained nurse under a different name (Ruth Kaye.)
