A public forum in Newcastle last Tuesday unanimously expressed their lack of confidence in Minister for Disability Services John Ajaka, who is overseeing the sell-off of all disability services in this state.

Not only panel members, who included Brett Holmes of the NSWNMA,  but several speakers from the floor were passionate about the lack of consultation and choice involved in the closures of residential centres such as Stockton.

Kate Washington, lawyer, Lynn Warner, sister of Kanangra resident, Wendy Cuneo, mother of Stockton resident, Gary Dunne, disability nurse.
